Duduza – The community of John Dubé is in shock and fear after the body of an unknown person was found burned on Monday.

A resident found the body in an open field next to Chance Children’s Home. The badly burned body had only the legs, which identified him as an African.

Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said police were called to the scene and a case of unnatural death was opened.

“We are appealing to residents who have missing family members to come forward to help identify the body,” he said.

Police are also appealing to anyone with information about the person’s death to contact SAPS Duduza on 011 810 6093.
